Transition & Adult Fall Training Series

The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation Transition and Adult Programs presents a FREE Virtual Training Series. These trainings are for parents, caregivers, professionals, and community organizations supporting individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related disabilities. The trainings offered will include various topics, strategies, and resources.

Tuesdays this Fall from 6:30 - 7:30pm

November 17th - Navigating the Transition to College

Presenter: Dr. Diane Adreon, Ed.D. This training will help parents and young adults understand and prepare for the transition to college. The presenter will explain the differences between entitlement and eligibility to education and accommodations in the college setting as well as strategies for a successful transition.

December 8th - Strategies for Practicing Social Skills with your Teen/Adult

Presenter: Silvia Gil, M.S.Ed. The training will provide parents and caregivers of teens and adults with strategies on how to develop and support social skills. Parents will also learn how to provide feedback, model, and utilize visual supports to enhance social skills.
