One Dollar Bicentennial Rare Coin
The one-dollar Bicentennial Rare Coin is larger than the quarter and half-dollar. This coin bears the image of Dwight D. Eisenhower, who is the 34th President of the United States and inscriptions “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST” on the obverse side or head side. On its reverse side, or back side, was an image of the Moon and the Liberty Bell with the Liberty Bell covering the Moon.
The engraved words are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “ONE DOLLAR,” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM”. Dennis R. Williams of 880 East Broad Street in Columbus, Ohio designed this unusual coin.
